Prioritize Safety in Our Community

In Saskatoon, like in almost every other Canadian city, we face the dual challenges of rising crime rates and homelessness. These issues not only affect our city's safety but also its heart and soul. 'A Better YXE' is dedicated to advocating for a safer Saskatoon by encouraging City Councillors and City Hall Administration to make community safety a core focus for 2024 and beyond.

Thankfully, City Council has heard the demands and is using a portion of their massive tax hike to increase police funding. It’s clear our city needs more to keep our communities vibrant and safe.

'A Better YXE' is calling on our city council to prioritize and address this pressing issue through strategic and focused spending.

We believe in a Saskatoon where everyone feels safe and supported. Our mission is to create impactful changes through targeted policies that address the interconnected nature of crime and homelessness.

We believe that safety is the foundation of a thriving community. It's time for our city council to take decisive and urgent action. We urge our leaders to re-evaluate and realign our city's budget and resources to effectively combat the rising tide of crime in Saskatoon.
